WITHDRAWAL AND RECALL
Does the law establish systems and procedures for the withdrawal and recall of meat/fish products when they are found to be unsafe, or otherwise not aligned with the relevant standards?

Section 8 (extract) -
Where an inspector has reason to believe that there is in or upon any premises, place, vehicle, vessel or aircraft any food for the purposes of sale or manufacture for sale or that a contravention of this Act is taking place, he may, subject to this section— [...]
( f ) where it appears to him that any food found in or upon the premises, place, vehicle, vessel or aircraft is intended for sale or manufacture for sale and the sale or manufacture for sale thereof, in his opinion, is or might be prohibited— [...]
(iii) remove the food to some other place and detain it there.
Is the food operator primarily responsible to withdraw from the market products which are not safe, or otherwise not aligned with the relevant standards?

No person shall sell, or shall prepare, keep, transmit or expose for sale, any milk, dairy produce, meat, water or other article of food which is not clean, wholesome, sound and free from any disease or infection or contamination; and no person shall collect, prepare, manufacture, keep, transmit or expose for sale any such article without taking adequate measures to guard against or prevent any possible infection or contamination thereo
